Becoming a Navy Mom
On Monday, February 3, 2014, my oldest son, Jordan, leaves for Navy basic training. Jordan has signed an EOD contract-Explosive Ordinance Disposal. This means after basic he will have 15 months of school that will include dive school, explosives school and jump school. He will most likely be assigned to a SEAL team or other Special Warfare team.
I have been asked if I am fearful or worried about him. Today, I am not. I know he has prayed about this decision and believes God has called him to this field.
